Lawrence Sinclair is the CEO of East Agile, the software engineering and data science consultancy he founded in San Francisco in 1997 and expanded into Vietnam in 2007. He has built profitability models, analytics systems, data warehouses, and neural networks for clients ranging from eToys, Intuit, Wells Fargo, Bank of America and Morgan Stanley Online in California, and Morgan Stanley's Global Wealth Management in New York City. Over more than 25 years Lawrence grew East Agile into a large team of engineers and data scientists. Along the way he has invested in several technology ventures that have inspired including Your Beautiful Life, AngelMD, Indinero, Pandoodle, Achiko, and Waggl.

Lawrence was born in London, UK and grew up living in Fiji, Sri Lanka, and Canada. He studied economics at Queen's University (BA) and the University of British Columbia (MA). He held government policy and analytics roles at the Bank of Canada, Statistics Canada, and Ministry of Finance before dropping everything and driving to San Francisco in 1995 to join the Internet revolution. Today he is all in on generative AI.
